The Regional Universities Network welcomes the appointment of respected policy expert and equity advocate Jasmina Joldić PSM as the next Deputy Secretary of the Higher Education, Research and International Group in the Commonwealth Department of Education.
Chief Executive Officer of RUN, Mr Alec Webb, said he looked forward to working with Ms Joldić during what will be a highly important and consequential period of sectoral reform for regional universities.
“Ms Joldić returns to the higher education sector with an accomplished reputation and a diverse background that will undoubtably benefit the Department of Education and its many stakeholders.

In welcoming Ms Joldić to the role, RUN wishes outgoing Deputy Secretary Ben Rimmer well in his new role as Director General Housing, and acknowledges his sound stewardship of the Higher Education, Research and International Group during a period of important reform.
