New data confirms that regional universities are consistently outperforming the national average (all universities) in key measures of student satisfaction, graduate employment rates and salaries, and graduate employer satisfaction.
Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Universities Network Alec Webb said the latest data from the Australian Government’s Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) tells a positive and consistent story.
“Yet again we are seeing that the students and graduates of regional universities are happier, higher paid, and more sought after by employers, than the national average.
“The 2024 QILT data tells a similar story to the results of previous years, which points to the broader social and economic impact that regional universities are consistently delivering to the communities they serve.
The 2024 QILT data is testament to the world class learning and teaching that occurs at regional universities, Mr Webb said.
