RUN welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the Department of Industry, Science and Resources consultation on Horizon Europe implementation. RUN is supportive of Australia’s participation in Pillar II of the Horizon Europe Framework Programme, and welcomes the stated intention for a whole-of-nation approach to the Programme. RUN favours the model of association demonstrated by New Zealand, as this has shown to drive widespread research activity across the country’s higher education sector.
